多米尼克Teresi, of Sacramento, Calif., teaches historical bassoons and chamber music at Juilliard. He is principal bassoon of the Tafelmusik Orchestra, Boston Early 音乐 Festival Orchestra, and Carmel Bach Festival orchestra. He is a member of Juilliard Baroque and Quicksilver. In demand as a player of dulcian, 巴洛克式的, 经典, and modern bassoon, he has also played with Le Concert d’Astrée, Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique, Philharmonia Baroque, American Bach Soloists, Arion乐团, Smithsonian Chamber Players, the Helicon Foundation, 多伦多的配偶, and Ensemble Caprice.

Teresi has appeared as a concerto soloist throughout Europe, Australia, and North America. He was invited to perform a nationally broadcast concert of bassoon concertos and sonatas on 加拿大广播公司 Radio, interspersed with interviews about his career. His recordings include the Juno-nominated Concerti Virtuosi 与Tafelmusik, complete Beethoven symphonies with Bruno Weil, and numerous recordings on the Tafelmusik Media, Analekta, 埃西斯, CPO, 多里安人, 纳克索斯岛, 加拿大广播公司, and ATMA labels.

Teresi has master’s and artist diploma degrees from Yale and a doctorate from Indiana University. In addition to his work at Juilliard, Teresi teaches at the Tafelmusik Baroque Summer Institute, American Bach Soloists Academy, and University of Toronto. He has been an invited lecturer at the Musikinstrumentenbau Symposium in Saxony-Anhalt.
